I have had Tiger since I was 10 and she has always been a loving affectionate cat (towards me at least 😬). Whenever I’m sad it’s like she can sense it and approaches me purring which always seems to calm me down. When I can’t be near her I look at pictures of her which make me feel happy. She has a very funny personality and she does some strange things which always cheer me up as well. I love my little kitty.

Tillie
Tillie is the sassiest creature in the whole world. She brightens my day with her erratic energy and her judgmental stares. I got her in the middle of COVID right after I graduated from college. She has really helped remind me to take a break and be silly and I love her so much. She shows love in different ways like laying on my notes so I will stop studying.

Ricki
Ricki isn’t always the nicest cat – she seems to think everything is a game, usually one that ends with her biting my ankles. But whenever I get to see her at home, I’m reminded that cats really are majestic creatures, and Ricki is undeniably cute (and she definitely knows it…). Once she calms down, she actually becomes a great cuddle partner – though only on her own terms, of course!

Mojito
I got Mojito as a Christmas gift shortly after experiencing the loss of a family member. Her affectionate nature really helped with the grieving process. There is nothing that a cuddle session with Mojito can't fix, and I'm so unbelievably grateful that I'm able to experience such love from an animal companion.

It makes me so happy when I wake up for work and my cat wakes up and comes running to me so he can be fed. I look forward to it every morning :)

Coco
Coco belonged to my late wife, and she’s been a comforting presence ever since. I truly cherish her. She curls up in my lap the moment I sit down, and I always look forward to her affectionate greeting when I return home after a long day at work.
Holly is not only my childhood dog, but my best friend. She shows me so much love and is always thrilled to see me whenever I walk through the door. I couldn't ask for a better pet!

Grenitas
There are so many ways my dog Grenitas impacted me and my family's well-being. However, the thing I remember most about him is how he remained happy even through the hardest moments. Near the end of his life, he became very sick. He experienced poor sleeping conditions and a decreased quality of life due to his physical condition, yet every day he kept getting up and enjoying every moment he had in the sun—with a smile, a wagging tail, and energetic steps. He showed us how to find the good in difficult times. Instead of worrying us, he remained our source of laughter and comfort, even while he was struggling.

Tip
Tip came to us as a puppy, the winter after our first beloved Berner died of an auto-immune disorder during the first summer of the pandemic. Tip definitely helped our whole family by injecting joy and humour into our lives, prompting us to get out of the house, and improving our mental health all around!
I have had Roman for nearly two decades. He is such a silly little guy, and always puts a smile on my face. He loves being held, and shows affection in very special ways.
Polly is quite the funny bird. She doesn't like being in her cage, and would much rather hop around the house and chat with you. While she really keeps me on my toes, I still couldn't ask for a better friend!
Pepper loves to sit and watch TV with me in the basement! She is super playful, and I look forward to spending time with her every evening. Even though she's small in size, she has a big personality.
